Bert Copple for U.S. Congress
Legacy of Hope.  Foundation of Faith.  The Change We Need in 2008.
The Issues Facing Michigan's 12th U.S. Congressional District

Hope.  Faith.  Change.

So where do we start?  Michigan continues to suffer from a one state recession, and it seems our nation isn't that far behind.  We're fighting a war that will never be won, because it isn't about politics, but about religious ideologies.  Our nation is aging quickly, and we don't have the resources to support our baby boomers or the children of our future.

Again, where do we start?  First, we need to acknowledge that what is currently in place is not working.  Washington is broken, and the only way it will be fixed is if we upgrade to a new model.  In other words, out with the old and in with the new.  Sander Levin has been in Congress for twenty-five years, and things haven't gotten any better.  In fact, they have gotten worse.  To see the proof, click on this 12th Facts link.

As your choice for change, our campaign will be focusing on those issues that are important to you: my next-door neighbors, my co-workers, my congregation.  These issues are important to you, and they need to be important in Washington, too.  Together we'll make our voices heard.  Together we'll make the voices of our children heard.  Together we'll leave a legacy of hope, lay a foundation of faith, and begin the process of change in our district, our state, and our country.

Let's get to work!
